After my lap my doc had me continue on the birth control pills I was on prior to surgery. I didn't experience any pain relief after the lap so she switched me over to Seasonale. I haven't had any luck with that either. I'm going for lap #2 next week with a follow up of continuous progesterone so that i won't have any periods. I guess there are a couple of ways to look at it...you don't want to take any medicine that you don't really need to, but endo does respond to estrogen and if you aren't suppressing that in any way it is possible for the endo to grow back. In my limited experience some doctors are very conservative with their treatment of endo and others are more aggressive, just depends on the doc. Good luck to you Alyson
