Taylor, I know exactly how you feel about the children thing. I have always known that I want to be a mother, and for me, that also means that I may have them before I had previously planned. After all, life doesn't always go as planned. My only advice is to be sure you and your boyfriend are ready on all levels, and be sure, especially, that you guys have the means to support a child. It's hard enough to be sick and have a family and do all the work and school and whatever, but to be broke too, it's tough. That being said, I am in the same boat as far as having kids sooner than later and I would much rather have one now than none at all. The only thing is, although my family still thinks I'm too young (and some friends too) -- I'm 22 and married with a good job and a house -- so to me, it's mine and my husband's choice, because we can take care of ourselves. If you find yourself in a similar situation, I say more power to you. Take care and I hope, either way, that you find the answers you're looking for.
