Taylor - thinking about pregnancyFrom: kristina (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Sep 28 20:57:47 2005
Taylor, I also started having problems at about 15. I am now 35. I am having a hysterectomy next month. I am not married and have no children. The only thing I can tell you is this, the endometriosis really did not start to do a lot of damage and constant pain until my late 20s. You have tons of options. Stay on birth control for 6-9 months at a time. As a woman, I cannot tell you how important it is for you to experience life BY YOURSELF before having children or getting married. I think that in today's world, a woman needs to know that she can stand on her own two feet, support herself, experience life, before having children or getting married. Once you have a child, you cannot go back. You cannot travel to Africa if you want to! (I did last year!) You can't sky dive! You have responsibilities. All I am saying is, you have some time, some options. Don't rush.... there is no going back - ever...
