I was diagnosed with endo this past Monday through a laparoscopy. I have it on one ovary, around my uterus and on my diaphragm. I want to say thank you to all you incredibly strong women who post on this forum for being my strength when I thought I was crazy or that the pain was just in my head. It was a huge struggle to find a doctor who didn't just dismiss me, and having this forum to read as support was so valuable to me. I also wanted to say to all of you out there who haven't been diagnosed yet -- don't give up and don't let a doctor make you feel as if the problem is in your head. Since I have diaphragmatic endometriosis, I suffer from awful shoulder pain every month with my period (pain so bad that I can't do anything at all) and the first gyno I saw regarding it told me to go see an orthopedic physician because that couldn't have anything to do with my cycle. This is just to say that nobody knows exactly what you're going through but you, and maybe we can help each other out a little bit too!
