PLEASE READ--LUPRON INFO!From: Lori (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Sep 28 12:51:07 2005
Hi, just wanting to share a few things. I have been researching Lupron. I am one of the many that this drug didn't help. I have been looking into some websites and found some scarey things. According to one website that has been mentioned on this forum before--- http://www.mercola.com/2002/feb/9/lupron.htm there has been some cases of lupron causing seizures, heart problems, and the list goes on and on. Lupron has not been studied in women using it under the age of 18 and is not recommended for women over the age of 65. The doctor on this website believes that Lupron can cause permanent neurological damage. It also says to notify a doctor if a period continues. (I suppose all doctors think this is normal, maybe it isn't) If you have migraines then you should discontinue lupron use. This particular doctor mentions the use of progesterone cream and the endo diet. Just like our dear friend (the other Lori) has been suggesting to us time and time again. Let's try progesterone! It might work, it has for others. Anyways, these are just a few things I picked up of the website. Check it out. Or do a google search for Lupron, there are a lot of other sites to look at. Now be me posting this message, please understand that I am not against any of you who are on Lupron. I am just particularly terrified of the drug and I have some concerns and I am going to be checking into in further. We live in a world with freedom of choice and I by no means am wanting to take that away from anyone or steer anyone. I am just simply looking out for the well-being of all of you and trying to point out some things hoping it will help. Thanks girls! Many hugs to all of you! Your friend, Lori D.
