My doctor told me, when I asked about the bcp, that the only thing that would be truly effective was one from the 80s or so - in other words, a much higher dose than most of what's available today. I would try the progestrone cream, I didn't look long enough at that option and I'm regretting it now. But there's always the future, haha. Good luck!
