Trisha, I will tell you that I have experienced both Lupron and cbcp and I had no sucess with either. It doesn't mean you wont, but I didn't and my body just can't tolerate it. Anyways, I don't like Lupron one bit. I am not sure of the website that talks of fibromygilya (sp) and lupron, but I am sure that someone who reads this will be able to give you the info. There is a girl who posts, her name is Sudsey and she has researched Lupron and the FDA. The FDA only recommends that one person should only have 2 shots of Lupron in their LIFETIME. That is steep and they do know what they are talking about. Now why they recommend that, I'm not sure, maybe Sudsey knows, or maybe it doesn't explain why, but I am under the impression that it is some potent stuff. It messed me up in many ways and I don't like the drug. There are many who have sucess, but you are correct it only supresses. I am not exactly sure on bcp, but I am under the impression that is supresses and maybe haults endo from growing (but don't quote me on that) I have not had any medical attention for my endo. for 5 years. I guess I have given up on the medical field. I keep thinking that one day I'll go back to a doc. for it, but I am not doing it yet. I have built up some sort of tolerance, but yet I live with a lot of pain. Don't know what to say to you for sure, but do your homework, which it sounds like you are already doing and many will have some websites or info. for you that I just don't have right now. I do have a lot of sympathy for you and will show my support. Best wishes! Hugs~ Lori D.
