Re: any advice-suggestions?From: Maria (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Sep 27 02:23:55 2005
Wow, a lot of questins, I can only answer a few. Birth Control slows the growth of Endo, it doesn't stop it or shrink it. I asked my doctor to try BC and was denied (she is a terrible doctor, but that's beside the point). I don't recommend Lupron unless it is a last ditch effort. My experience with it has been horrible. Adhesions are scar tissues left over from where the endo was burned off - I think, don't quote me on that ;D. Endo can be very tricky as it grows randomly with no pattern, ryhme, or reason to it, so don't be too upset if the doc didn't get it all. It can also grow back very quickly after a lap (I'm living proof). The endo can be burned off, lasered off, and frozen off, perhaps more, I'm not too sure. I haven't heard whether one method is better than the other - but a lot of women have said their endo has grown back quicker after a laser. As for Fibormyalsia, I have no idea ;). Hope I helped!
