Re: Help-Bladder SpasmsFrom: Amanda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Sep 24 06:33:09 2005
Hi Jessica, my name is Amanda and I've been dealing with bladder issues for about 4-5 months now. She might have what they call interstitial cystitis. I myself have it and I get bladder spasms daily and also alot of pain in the pelvic area and also with urination. If they antibiotics and pyridium are not helping than it might be something as serious as interstitial cystitis. You can find a lot of good information on http://www.ic-network.com. I would suggest that your mom see a urologist to get tested for it. I know the common thing most people do when they think they have a UTI is drink cranberry juice, and if it seems to make her symptoms worse and not better, there's a great chance she has IC. If you have any questions feel free to email me. I hope your mom feels better soon and I hope you get this figured out soon:) Take care, Amanda At Fri, 23 Sep 2005, Jessica wrote: > >Hey Ladies, >I figured if I could get good info it would be here.
