I just wanted to say that while many women on this board have a great deal of difficulty with this disease, there are a great deal of women that are able to effectively manage the disease without multiple surgeries and life altering drugs. And for some women the drugs work well and initial surgeries work well. Just don't let our experiences fuel your decisions about your health care. There is no easy answer to endo and your choices about your health care of course are yours alone to make. I think the point that some of us were trying to make is just that as far as we know a lap IS the only way to confirm endo and it would really stink for you to go through such drastic measures if that is not actually what is happening to you.
