Tessa, I'm not sure I have alot of advice, but I have plenty of understanding. I am scheduled for surgery in a couple of weeks. This is a new doctor and he is VERY confident that I will be pain free after the proceedure. I find myself terrified for a number of reasons. I've been so miserable the past several months and I too have altered my life to cope with that. My biggest fear is that it won't work and I will be disappointed, but mostly I really have no idea how to find my way back to that silly girl I used to be. Its hard to figure out how to mitvate yourself back out of a life style that you have created to be comfortable. My relationship with my husband has even changed. So, I really have no answers, but I have decided for myself that I can't worry too much about that just yet. Getting to and through the surgery is priority, recovering...and then who knows? Maybe it will all come back naturally and I'll find myself running, jumping and playing again ;-). Best of Luck, Alyson
