Re: endometriosis & infertilityFrom: Alyson (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Sep 7 10:19:24 2005
Hi there- I too have endometriosis and polycystic ovaries, but I'm not currently trying to conceive. My mother had polycystic ovaries, it took her over four years to conceive me and she did so my using Clomid (sp?). My dear friend has polycystic ovaries and she conceived after a year by using homeopathic remedies, specifically teas that encouraged ovulation. I also have a friend with PCOS that conceived after seeing an accupuncturist. Unfortunately I don't know anyone personally who has endo as well as PCOS. (Although I've talked to a couple of girls on this site) Have you talked to your doctor about this? It may be time to investigate something to help you ovulate. P.S. It seems that once you get through the hurdle of the first baby, the PCOS takes care of itself. I have a younger brother and sister and my homeopathic friend just had her second-which was unplanned!) If you are interested I can find out about the homeopathic remedies. Feel free to let me know. Best of Luck, Alyson
