Melinda, I was diagnosed a little over a year ago. I had a lap and followed up with Seasonale. I've had some weird experiences with it..the hair loss, break through bleeding, etc. My pain has not ever subsided and in the past 4 months it has gone through the roof. Some people have had great luck with it. I made the decision for myself not to try Lupron. I know there are many women out there who have had great results, and many that have had horrible ones. The trade off for me if I don't react well to it just isn't worth it. The last thing I want right now is to still be in this much pain and have all of those side effects on top of it. I am skeptical of any doctor that tells you that you only have 2 options to treat this. There are several other drugs available that work very well for alot of people. I have my 2nd lap scheduled for next month with a planned follow up of a constant dose of preogesterone for the next several months. There is also Danazol, Depo Sub Q and several others. It may be worth some research into these other meds and another conversation with your doctor as to why he feels Seasonale and Lupron are the only two options for you. Good luck! Alyson
