A Positive StoryFrom: Claire (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue Sep 6 15:39:11 2005
Hi there, well, I am now day 11 after my first lap, and being diagnosed with severe endometriosis. My surgeon removed it all as well as multiple adhesions. Apart from a bit of muscle pulling in the tummy still, I feel fantastic. I feel the best I have felt for about 6 months. I feel like I have returned to life with zest!!! My head feels clear and I can't wait to take the dog out for a walk, rather than just look at him and feel that I can't be bothered. I know its early days and too soon to tell if I am going to be completely symptom free, but I don't care, I feel great right now and I just wanted to share this positive feeling/vibe with you all. I didn't realise how bad I actually did feel before - not only the pain, but the mental state I was in, I reckon I was a bit depressed because I'd felt so average for so long. I have made some changes to my diet since day 1, and I feel much better for that too I'm sure. Anyway ladies, I hope you enjoy reading my positive story today - hopefully it lasts, but if not, I know where you all are for advise etc. Thanks, keep smiling, and I hope you are pain free today Take care Claire
