Amanda,
You are SO right - do NOT give up. If you had side pain, fever, and
nausea they wouldn't think twice about operating to check your appendix
-- even if you didn't have sensitivity to that area, and your blood
tests came back normal. I swear some doctors were born without a caring
bone in their bodies! I hope you've gone to find a different gyno! I
would have told her "i'll take that risk - just find out what the heck
is going on in my body!!". I think we're all mature enough to realize
that ANY surgery has the slight possibilty of death. Sheesh -- walking
out the front door of your home could result in someone tripping,
falling, and hitting their head and end up dying. I honestly think some
doctors don't really understand that their patients DO HAVE BRAINS!
HAHA!
I wish you pain free days soon!!
