Re: Another useless doctors appointment

Your story sounds all too familiar. My first gyno in the new town I moved to said the same thing about dieing during surgery. I saw her 7 times complaining about pelvic pain, she initially told me it was in my head, and then said "how would I explain to your family if you died during surgery that I operated on a perfectly healthy 25 year old."

All I can say is don't give up, eventually you will find someone that will work with you and help you. I am appalled that the medical profession has treated so many of us so poorly. I cry every day b/c I am in constant pain, I also have interstitial cystitis, and I just don't know where else to turn. It's just not right. I guess all we can do is keep our heads up and keep looking for help until we get it, and I know it's extremely frustrating at times, and it basically has ruined my life. I hope there are better days ahead, take care and god bless.....Amanda At Sun, 4 Sep 2005, G wrote: >
