will accupuncture help with heavy bleeding? Previous message: Jennifer: "Re: Endo and Lupron treatment at 22" my dr suggested acupuncture as an option last week. i just had my period, and it was extremely painful and very heavy. painkillers usually help for the pain, but nothing is helping for the heavy bleeding. the first 2 days of my period, i flooded a pad an hour. i am physically exhausted from the heavy bleeding. i know acupuncture seems to help with pain, but will it help with the bleeding? the blood is (tmi) bright red with no clots. it just flows out for a couple of days then lightens up day 3 and 4. but i'm so tired now. i am finding it hard to just get through the day when it's so heavy. i have a consult with an acupuncturist in a few weeks. but i would like to know some personal experiences. i looked in the archives, and most of what i'm finding is about pain relief. anyone have success treating heavy bleeding? thanks in advance. -- holly mild endo and IC Next message: Heatheranne: "Operation problems..."
