Hi there, I also have severe butt pain. It is constant, but it gets excruciating around the time of my period and is severe for about 10 days. I had my first lap on friday and my doc said it was definitely endo causing me that pain. Because it is behind the uterus and almost underneath the tailbone, she could not remove it. It seems to travel down the back of my legs and also into the hip area. I know what you are feeling, and it seems that it is probably the endo. I wish you luck in getting it taken care of so you get some type of relief:) Amanda

I too am conveinced that the endo is about 35% of my low back and hip pain. But no proof. I am 43 and considering complete hysto but very scared about going under anestesia. My mother in law died post-surgery 3 years ago from blood clot leaving leg and traveling to lungs. Never tried any drugs (lupo) etc.. but Doc says lets just take it all out.
