Endometrioma

Hi, I am a 38 year old female. When I was 27 I was diagnosed with a soft tissue cancer. I was a misdiagnosis (THANK GOD) and what I had was an endometrioma. I had a mass in my abdoman that you could feel easily. It burned a lot and it grew through my abdominal wall which was partially removed during surgery and a mesh implant placed to prevent future hernia. My doctor/surgeon at the time told me my case was rare and that in all of his years he practiced, he had never seen anything like it. I of cousre was thankful at the time that he was wrong with his first diagnosis. My question is, why is there no information about endometriomas anywhere? I am scared I may have grown another and I have read that they can grow in the brain in rare cases. I sometimes get a weird feeling in my head that relates to my cycle Ovulation, PMS onset and subsides with the absense of the menus. It is not painful but rather an irritant and I am hoping can be seen before it turns into something aweful! Does anyone know of a great doctor in Colorado who I could go to? I don't want to be someones experiment, I want someone who can really help me. Does anyone else have this or know anyone who does? Any info would be appreciated, even an excellent doctor in another state. Thanks do much! Jill
