Re: nose bleedsFrom: JENN (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Aug 29 10:02:11 2005
Hello I am sorry to hear that you go through so much during that dreaded time of the month. I as well used to get nosebleeds all the time up to the point where I went to the hospital to get my nose cauterized ( it had been bleeding for 4 hrs no stopping) and just 5 min before the doc was going to stick a burning rod up my nose it stopped. lucky me I guess. i would get nose bleeds alsmost everyday I eventually outgrew them but what had really helped me was --- this may sound stupid but it worked I moved to a place where it was hotter and less humid you'd think it make it worse but it helpped. Also a very very good trick is to shove vasaline up your nose right after its done bleeding the vasealine soothes the skin inside and makes it less irritated + = less nose bleeds (the more the better I know gross)but it definitally helped me its like chapstick for the lips but vasaline for the nose it does make sense. give the vasaline a try and hopefully it helps:) ~Hugs Jenn~
