Re: Any GOOD Canadian Dr.s recomended

I just came back from an obgyn appt for my grade 4 endo. I've been
suffering from it for more than 20 years. As you can guess, I have a
high tolerance for pain in order to keep my uterus this long. The pain
however is really bad now, everyday and lsats for hours. I take various
pain killers just to get through the day. A full hysterectomy has been
recommended. I am concerned that given what I have read on this site,
that the endo does not go away with a full hysterectomy, is this so?
I am in Toronto. I am from Australia originally and moved here with my
husband and children in May. I have no friends or family here. I know
no-one. Can any Canadian woman help me please? I could really use some
advice from experience too. The doc said danazol is an alternative but
from what I've read I'm not too keen. I went through Zolodex 10 years
and it nearly killed my marriage. Is it a similar drug? Has anyone out
there tried both? Any ideas/suggestions at all? I really don't want a
full hysterectomy.
