Well, I suppose its better to check everything out before having someone cut you open. I went through the same diagnostic process before my lap. You can't always see endo on an ultra sound, so....you could seek a second opinion but it probably won't hurt to rule everything else out just in case. It would really stink to go through surgery for something that could have been caught without such an invasive proceedure. Alyson
