-- I had 2 shots of depo-provera. Then I was on the pill for 4 months. The last month I had migraine headaches almost everyday. So I was put back on the depo shot. I had 1 shot then my husband and I decided that we wanted to try and have another child. However, since I have stopped taking the depo shot I have had my period almost none stop for 5 and 1/2 months. I stop bleeding for 1 to 3 days but then I start back again. It isn't spotting it is heavy bleeding most of the time. I am tired alot of the time. I went to the doctor and she said that it was normal for women who have been on the shot to bleed of and on. She said that eventually I would get my regular period back. Is there anything else I can do to help my period return to normal? Should I get checked for iron-defeciant anemia?
