I just have a question regarding chocolate cysts or endometriomas. I have just been diagnosed with a very small cyst on my left ovary which is causing some pain and discomfort!! At the moment my consultant has put me on a spray to stop my periods which should hopefully shrink the cyst but am i right in thinking the cyst will not go on its own?? will i eventually need surgery for this?
