Hi all,

This is my first time to write to the forum. I have been diagnosed with endometriosis for about a year & a half but they only done a laporoscopy in April to see how bad it actually was. THe growths not only cover my womb but are stuck to the outside as well & partly stuck to my bowels. I have been out on a six month hormone treatment in the form of an injection. I will finish this treatment in October but it gives me a fake menopause so I get the hot flushes the mod swings-everything. I will turn 20 in October & just feel that it's hard to cope sometimes when half the people you talk to don't even know what endometriosis is. I'm sure there are others out there who feel like this too. I've been told that the scaring on my womb is so bad that it will be impossible for me to ever concieve a child which is absolutely the biggest shock of all. In no way am I ready to rush into having kids but I always imagined that someday I would & to have the choice taken away so quickly is just life shattering. If anyone out there has any advice on how to better cope with this can they give me a shout please>???? It's nice to know your npot hte only one who feels like this
