Vicki, I was diagnosed with endo a little over a year ago. I recently started experiencing nausea, cramps (like period cramps) after eating, and painful bowel movements. My doctor also told me that it was something gastro intestinal and sent me to a GI specialist. I had and MRI of my upper bowel and a colonoscopy (not fun). The specialist told me before he did the proceedures that he was 95% sure it was the endo causing my symptoms. He also did not believe the symptoms were caused by irritable bowel syndrome. After the tests showed nothing he was convinced it was definately the endo. My doctor however still brushes the symptoms off as being a bowel issue. It is incredibly frustrating.

I also live in Florida on the east coast. If you are in this area, the only doctor I've heard that is good is Ronald T. Ackerman in West Palm Beach. I have not personally seen him though. I am also looking to change doctors, if you are on the southeast coast and hear of anyone else that's good will you let me know?
