I am 25 years old and have endo. All my life I had no pain what so ever until may 18,2005.I thought I was dying. I never experienced pain like this before. I went to the er had to have emgerency surgery. I had 2 cysts on my overies. My left one reptured, they were both chocolate cysts, They were both 6 inches. Wow I had grapefruits in me. I was so scared.. After 2 blood transufions, my 9inch long incesion kept opening up had to have it stiched 2 times. Finally closed last month. I had the leup. shot and it was horrible. All I did was sweat my butt off. Everyone around me would be freezing and I was dripping wet. I am now taking a pill named aygestin. Now I am up to 8mg of this every 2 weeks the doctor keeps uping my dosage.I can only go up to 14 mg. Nothing is working.I have horrible cramps and its gets so much worse when I have intercorse.I have tryed narcodicts. But they put me to sleep. I also have IBS and I am convinced after reading all about endo. That its endo I have not IBS.I have to take 4 tablespoons of anti-nausa med in the am. This medican makes me sick to my stomach. I am seeing a sepcialist in Gainsville. The Doctor told me the next step is a laparascopy. How many more will I have to do?? This is crazy. Some days I wake up and I am somewhat normal and can get out of bed and do simple things like go to the store and other days I cant get out of bed. I have such a drastic drop in energy Since the surgery.I used to go to the gym everyday for 2 hours. Since the surgery I put on 10 lbs. At times I feel like I am so alone and no one understands. Does anyone have any helpfull advise or words of wisdom to help me. Or even a great doctor in FL. Thank you Vicki
