Hi Cara,

I was just diagnosed with severe endometrosis after a laproscopy last week. I would be going for a surgery very soon.Prior to the laproscopy, I knew I had endo becuase I had some of symptoms, but I never knew it was severe.I also get this pain in right thigh which feels really bad when I am standing and goes away after I have rested.I think my pain is from the endo and ovarian cyst.My endo symptoms are really bad after my ovulation and reduces a week before my period. I take some vitamins and minerals (Evening primrose,Zinc, vitaminC, Magnesium, VitaminB6 and Vitamin E)daily. Before I started taking the supplements, I used to get very bloated, fatigued,my weight would go up by 2kg,nauseous etc. Now I virtually PMS free. I have done and still doing alot of research on endo.A number of researchers believe the most of pain felt from endo is linked to one's diet. U said u eat very light but do eat healthy? I have also changed my diet.I avoid all processed foods, sugar, coffee, chocolate, cakes etc.i cook all my meals from raw ingredients. I drink 2litres of water daily and i exercise three times a week. I do liver detoxification once a month to get rid of any estorgen stored in my fatcells. You can also checkout this website:http://www.theendoclub.com/ you might find it helpful.I think the endo diet is a must even after surgery becuase endo never really goes.A good diet will help reduce most of the symptoms. Take care. Adaeze Sat, 30 Jul 2005, Cara wrote: >
