hi Tracey, I'm 23 and what I am using for pain medication is 50mg of codine 1-2 pills twice a day ( they are twelve hour pills ) i usually take at 7am and 7 pm as well as those I also have 300mg of acetimine/30mg codine they seem too work very well, Ask your doctor if those will help if not I was also put on 10mg Taradol, hope this helps you, get better and take care, jenn
