Could it be endo again?From: Cara (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat Jul 30 15:22:04 2005
I got lap surgery a few years back - felt awlful - severe blating, nausea, fatigue, shooting pains, tender stomach, pain during sex, couldn't eat much... After surgery, for a few years, I felt incredible. I was very low energy for years before I realized I had endo. After it was removed, I lost a ton of weight in the next few months while having a very healthy appetite - my metabolism improved and no blaoting. Well a few years have passed, symptoms seemed to have crept up gradually and now I find myself very bloated, gained most of the weight back this past year while eating light, tender abdomen, painful gyno exam - on one side in particular, skin looking bad, fatigue, hot flashes, pain during sex, pains in the abdomen, etc. Also you ladies mention leg pains - I get a charlie horse sometimes while walking that goes away only by resting it for a few minutes. It does not stem from my ovaries or anything in the abdomen - could this be endo? I had it in the past but I don't remember it when I was feeling great but before that. I was researching endo and some seem to think it is related to liver toxity. Does anyone know anything about this and if a good liver cleanse is a necessity? It seems like endo can be linked with many diseases. Is the endo diet a must, if excision surgery is sucessful? Thanks.
