Tammy, I use to suffer from severe leg cramps and pains. I still do on ocassion. Calcuim and potassium help that. I also know that as soon as the initial pain would go away from the cramp, then I would get up and walk around the house. This helps it from being so stiff in the morning when you wake up. Rub it out when you get the cramp and point your toes up and back toward your body to stretch out your muscle. Those were a few things that would help me. Take care!
