Vikki, It sounds like you could have endo. Sometimes it is hard to see, usually it can be diagnosed with a laproscopy. Mine was never dectected until mine. I had cysts and a lot of pain and when the cyst just got bigger and didn't go down, they did a lap and found endo. I think I was battling with the pain for 4 years before I was actually diagnosed 7 years ago. The pain can get so severe. And yes, your sex life does suffer, but don't beat yourself up about that, if it hurts then it hurts and you just can't do it. Some days the pain is better and some days it is worse. In may case I usually always have pain, it just elevates more after sex and during my period and ovualation, but I don't think it has ever gone away. Good luck and maybe let the doc. know that you don't want to live with this pain for another year before he does the next lap. Ask for some answers now! Good luck Hugs! Lori D.
