Re: new to endo and need helpFrom: Adaeze (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jul 28 03:30:42 2005
Hi, I am also new to endo.I am 30 years old and have been trying for a baby for 2years now. I was actually diagnosed with a stage IV endometriosis after a laparoscopy last week. The gynaecologist could not burn out the endo implants because i have severe adhesion and scarring. My right ovary wasnt even visible during the laparoscopy.I was completely devastated, when I heard the news. I have been referred to a endo specialist for a major surgery. My pain is moderate but i have diarrhoea during my periods ,bloating, flatuence and extreme fatigue.Despite all these problems, I learnt to maintain a positive outlook.I have told myself that I have to overcome this dreadful disease. I have bought so many books on healing endo through nutrition. I also take alot of vitamins and supplements to help with my pms.I also have changed my diet.I try as much as possible to avoid processed foods, coffee, chocolate, diary, sugar etc.I try to drink 2litres of water every day.As christian,I also believe in the power of healing. In the bible, God has said, "no woman shall be barren",and that "he shall make the barren to keep house and be mother of children" .I pray and commit all these problems into God's hands daily. No matter how long it takes, I believe I shall be called mother of children. It's the grace of God that keeps me strong daily. Dont worry, try to be positive.Have u tried to change your diet?If you are a christian why dont u try to buy this book "Supernatural Childbirth" by Jackie Mize. It will encourage you.Just rememeber with God, everything is possible. There are countless testimonies of women with endo that have given birth to lovely children. My own doctor, has advised us to go through the IVF route.I know the road ahead is long and painful but I believe God will make a way becuase he looks out for us.Please dont have that mindset, that you cannot reproduce.U need to believe that you can overcome all these problems. You can buy books on healing endo through nutrition.Remember you are not alone. Take care of yourself. adaeze At Wed, 27 Jul 2005, Amy wrote: > >Hi, everyone. >my doctor just diagnosed me with endo about 2 months ago, and it is only >after reading your messages in this forum that I am finally feeling some >relief.
