new to endo and need help

Hi, everyone. my doctor just diagnosed me with endo about 2 months ago, and it is only after reading your messages in this forum that I am finally feeling some relief. My symptoms persist, but just knowing that I am not alone is such a comfort.

That being said, I just need a little assurance from y'all to make sure that I am NOT losing my mind. The physical pain of this disease is pretty intense, but it's the other symptoms that are killing my spirit. The nausea, swollen abdomen, migraines, and MOST especially, the emotional strain are difficult to bear. Does it get any easier? I cry every time I get off the phone with my doctor's office because I feel like it's hopeless. My husband is so understanding, but there is only so much that one man can take. We do not have children yet, and now I worry that he has signed his life away to a woman who lives with chronic pain and cannot reproduce. Does anyone have any words of wisdom or advice to a newcomer on the endo scene?

thanks
