swelling of the uterusFrom: leslie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed Jul 27 09:37:08 2005
I was diagnosed with endometriosis last year and had a laporoscopy to laser out all ot the tissue and cysts on my ovaries. All was well for about a year and now my symptoms have returned. I went to the doctor again to see what he thought, and he gave me an antibiotic. I am alittle concerned. My sypmtoms include: all day nasea, back pain, fatigue, ache allover, pain during intercourse. My doctor said during my pap test that there was discharge in the vagina and my uterus was retroverted and inflammed. What exactly does this mean? I have been married for 9 years and never had sex with anyone else, so it couldn't be a sexually transmitted disease I don't think. Could someone please give me alittle advise. Could this just be endometriosis, or do I need to have a talk with my husband? Thanks
