Re: lupron depot effects & info

This might totally absurd but its just my theory. I was 17 when I had my first shot. The side effects where horrible. Abnormal vision, Memory loss, Legs started feeling like my bones were deteriarating(sp) or being scraped away.

Im 19 and still havent recovverd fully from my memory loss. My legs are worse then ever, and have days they are debilitating.

Back to my theory. MY dr told me my endo would get worse til I was 25 and then my biological clock would simmer down. That made me think. It seems a lot of the other women I talked to that had abnormal side effects from Lupron were 25- 26 or younger. I don't know if taking Lupron while your body is getting ready to make babys or at its most likley time to concieve its a good idea. Thats just my thought. I also think most dr.s. dont take time to look at Lupron Side Effects and are just trying to get endo patients out of their hair and Lupron seems to quickest easiest solution for them. Plus at $2,000.00 a shot or round of Lupron insurance companies as well as some dr.s are in it for the money.

I'm sure if other women have an answer to your question it will be more logical. Hope you find the answers your looking for. Make sure you do tons of research before considering it. My experience was once you go through with it theres no turning back even if you stop. Like I said I only had two shots(singles doses once a month for two months)and am still feeling the effects. Good luck hope you find your solution and pain free days. Jessica.
