Re: Pain with Cysts? HELP!From: anonymous@obgyn.netTue Jul 19 14:47:17 2005
Dear Tessa, I have and have had endometrioma cysts on both ovaries at the same time. As you had mentioned it feels like a constant pressure. Mine are currently 7 cm one on each ovary. From my past exprience and this one I can tell you during intercourse my ovaries feel like they are aggravated. You should ask the doctor to schedule a ultra sound so they can cofirm if you have a cyst or two(The reason I say two is that I have always had two cysts at a time one on each ovary and I only feel pain on one side of my ovaries instead of both as you would logically think I would) So it may feel to you that the cyst is on one side when it is actually on both. What the ultrasound also lets you know is how big the cysts are and what the next step would be as far as removing the potential cyst or cysts. I also experienced bowel problems from the cyst sitting on one of my bowels, the wait in my previous bout with cyst bent part of my fallopian tube so I would make sure the doctor really investigates this matter especially with your past history of the endo.
