Carrie, first of all, you are not alone. I had my first lap back in March. It lasted about 45 minutes. The doc. came out and told my husband "it's mild endo in the cul-de-sac and sacral ligament, we'll try lupron therapy.” My doc did nothing to remove the endo; in fact, at my post-op follow-up appt. he stated "I can't find anything wrong with you." Needless to say, I am still having symptoms and the only thing that I've accomplished is a diagnosis. So, long story short there is no correlation to the amount of endo and the amount of pain. If you feel like your doctor is not listening to you I would advise finding a new one. Try to find a reproductive endocrinologist.
