You might want to get a second opinion. I've been on BCPs for 4 months
as well with no effect, pain getting worse, and I'm now scheduled to
have surgery Wednesday. If you are in pain, you have every right to ask
for a different treatment. There is no sense in continuing to watch and
wait for the BCPs to work - it sounds like they aren't working in your
case. If your doctor won't move on, find one who will. I hope you find
relief soon.
