I have a 15 yr history of endo.So many laps. and have had it lasered off so many times I have lost count.It always comes back worse than before.Last lap was 2 yrs ago.I went in for severe lower left pain,dr found a cyst,which he aspirated and did not even attempt to remove endo.He told my husband the only hope for me was a hysterectomey,which I am not ready to do.I do not have the luxury of down time to recover from something so major right now.I am 44yrs old.Lately the pain is literally unbearable.MY pain is pretty much "constant".It is worse in lower left abdomen,near ovary.I feel shooting-stabbing-knifelike pains.Is this consistent with enod on ovary and possible cysts? The dr tells me it is the worst he has ever seen but yet does not want to give me anything for pain control.Go figure-stupid man! All he wants to even talk about is hysterectomy but that alone will not get rid of endo,right?Don't you also need excision,he tells me it is "everywhere".It does not help my mind now that my best friend just died of metatstatic ovarian cancer,she only knew she had it 4 weeks before she died.Now,I am totally scared thinking I must have the same thing.Do yall have "pretty much constant pain" like I have described??Thanks so much,I need a friend tonight so bad!
