Frightened about surgeryFrom: Erica (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu Jun 30 07:44:50 2005
Hi Everyone, I truly hope that all of you are feeling as well as possible. I am getting ready for my 4th surgery (diagnostic lap, w/excision and a LUNA) in the past two years (2 laps, one with LUNA, and a D& C) on the 7th of July and for the first time I am really scared about having it done. I know it is the right thing to do. I think I am so frightened because this is the first time that I have "asked" for it to be done instead of the doctors swaying me in that direction. I have a great deal of faith in the doctor (he's one of the best in town) but I just have that nagging feeling that something might go wrong. I think that it may be the wait that is bugging me. Ever other time I had it done it was within days. They might have to take my ovary and I am definetly afraid of that. Has anyone here had success getting pregnant with one ovary? I know you can I just wanted to see if anyone has. Keep yourselves well! Erica
