Re: Lupron Problems, I think?

Thanks so much to both of you for writing back, i feel so much better about the whole situation. Physically i am feeling a LOT better today, and my wierdo rash is almost gone. My gyn doc is still not convinced that the lupron caused it, but he did say that he could be wrong about that, he has just never seen this before. The fact that the rash is almost gone and i am feeling so much better are making me think that this may be a virus that i picked up and now am quickly getting over. I would have thought that if i had a reaction to the drug it would have already happened, but who knows. Marissa, thanks for sharing your lupron story and how you felt-I definitely feel some changes going on that are similart to what you experienced. And Heather, the fact that you had vision problems too makes me feel better. How long have you been off of the lupron? I saw my eye doctor yesterday and he said that my eyes look ok, and the dilation is probably from lupron. he was familiar with the drug and endo, and said that it isn't uncommon for hormone or hormone blocking drugs to affect vision in some way. I am supposed to call him if it gets worse or does not improve in 2 weeks. But just like the other doc, he said that i am at a point in the treatment where my body is going through a ton of changes all at once. So now i guess i just wait and see how it goes from here before i decide if i will get the next shot. Hopefully i will be ok from here on out and can get it. My gyn told me after i went to the eye doctor and got the ok that he was worried i was having a stroke! if he had told me that in the morning i think i would have lost it, i was so freaked out already by all of this stuff. It is so frustrating when you feel out of control of what is going on with your body, and i get worried about the fact that this lupron is just floating around in me and that if there was a problem with it, it is not like they can get it out! I know they can counteract the effects and stuff, but it still makes me uncomfortable. Anyway, thank you both so much for responding to my post, it means a lot and i really feel so much better knowing that i am not all alone with this. Take care.
