Endometriosis never goes away, especially if you are young and they start giving the hormones back right after surgery. One of my sister's friends started having problems even before I did and had a hysterectomy very young. She has been back many times for recurring endo. I hate to give you bad new, but I am sick of doctors telling us that a hysterectomy is a "cure" when it's not at all. Some women are lucky and get relief from a hysterectomy, but there are many more women who don't. I just ran across a website that got my interest. Check out http://www.clearpassage.com. Maybe it will help and give you more relief than another surgery would. I have just filled out their questionnaire so I don't know firsthand what it's like, but it's worth a try.
