Hi Eric,

I can't really say that I know exactly how you feel but I do watch my husband go through this everyday. From the standpoint of this particular woman with endo, what it does to the people you love hurts more that having the disease itself. I know it seems like nothing you do is of any help to your wife, but it is.

Often times women (at least I have felt like this) feel like the world is giving up on them. We just need to be reassured that the people we love aren't giving up on us too. I can only imagine all of the things that you have tried and do try to make your wife feel better. I know my husband tries everything and I can tell you we have had the conversation over and over again about the fact that it seems as if nothing he does works. The best piece of advice I can give you is to not take it personally. Your wife is not mad at you, she's mad at this disease. You two are in this together.

Keep writing on the forum, ask questions, make comments, vent, whatever you need. That's what it is here for. If you want to email me privately feel free.

Good luck and my best wishes and thoughts for you and your wife. Erica
