This is a place to ask questions and share information. There is no moderator screening the postings prior to their appearance so you are on the honor system to monitor yourselves.

You are reminded that not all opinions expressed here may be agreeable to all who read them and just as each of you are free to offer your own advice and suggestions to each other you are equally free to ignore the advice and suggestions of others. However, you are not free to degrade, demean, flame, or name-call and you are certainly not free to insult or harrass other posters who's beliefs or opinions may differ from your own.

Freedom of speech is alive and well in public areas of many countries but this is a privately owned forum and we can and will enforce the rules including the barring of specific people who are identified as being in violation of the rules of conduct for this forum.

If you have asked a question and don't like the answers you received or you did not receive any replies, then please try re-wording the question or just wait for other answers.

If you have read answers to questions and you disagree with the information posted, you are invited and welcome to add your own opinion but do not attack the other posters for their opinions. If you spot incorrect information then do offer corrections, again without attack to the original poster.

Postings that advertise products or services will be removed whether or not they are relevant to endometriosis.

Postings that are slanderous or libelous in nature that name names of hospitals, clinics, doctors or others will be removed. Sharing information about your experiences with doctors, clinics and hospitals should be done off-list via private email exchange. We welcome referrals to each other when requests are made for doctors in specific areas. If you are looking for a doctor in your area then make sure your subject line includes that information to help you get a quick response.

In an effort to protect your privacy we have made available the option of posting anonymously masking either your name and/or email address. We strongly suggest that you take advantage of this option or at least use a nickname. Using your full real name is discouraged as all messages posted to this forum are archived and will be searchable by anyone with Internet access including via third-party websites such as Google. Please also make sure that your signature does not contain any information you do not want made available to the world.

Please do be sure to take advantage of the many thousands of pages of information located on OBGYN.net and EndoZone.org. You are welcome to print any material you find to be of interest to enable better communication with your healthcare providers.
