Next, I really hate to hear drs say "get pregant and you will feel better". This is NOT the case. I have a 3 month old, who yes was conceived doing in vitro after trying for 5 yrs. Well when I was pregnant with him I STILL had endo pain. It was a little better but not gone as drs like to tell us. I could feel adhesions ripe as my uterus grew and I have endo on my bowels which gave me horrible bouts of diarrhea off and on the whole time...including the day I delivered.

Next, I hate that drs are such morons on endo and pain. They always make it seem like we are pills pushers. Yeah, i enjoy feeling all dooped up and unable to function due to the fog. (NOT!) I have an OB/gyne that misdiagnosed me for years. I am only started seeing them again when I got pregnant. They are perfectly competent for pregnancy but not endo. And right before my c-section I warned the OB doing the procedure how horrible my endo is....he said it will not be a problem cause it grows under the uterus and will be out of the way. Well guess what....I was right. During the procedure he commented on how he was having a hard time "finishing up " after my son was born. He also commented on how he saw a spot on my uterus where is looked like something had riped off. WEll gee, do you think mayber endo adhesions??? I made sure I pointed out that he should have listened to me. Everything turned out ok but I hate it when drs don't listen. He was not the dr who did my last 2 laps so I tried to educate him but he would not hear it.

So unfortunately, drs will call themselves endo specialists but unless you know someone who has seen them and they were somewhat competent, I do not trust it!

Hang in there....hopefully you can find a REAL dr soon. Amy >
