On 3 occassions in the span of a year, I have had sigificant bleeding during intercoarse. Its very bright red. The blood feels to come suddenly -twice there was no discomfort at all but the last time there was - the incidences where months apart. I am completely unware of a problem until I see it. I would guess the amount would be a couple table spoons. I have regular paps, that have always been normal. I have had cyst in the past, break through bleeding and been put on several types of BC pills to stop it. But i have been on a different pill each time I have had bleeding. I also have chronic low back pain and wonder if it might relate to this. I do have an appointment booked with my doctor but its not for over a month. Is this urgent?? or a symptom of anything?
