Your situation sounds very similar to what I have experienced in the past.(The fluid in the cul de sac, the inflamed appendix, the endo & adhesions left behind because it was felt to be due to the appendix.)My endo. also worsened after the birth of my daughter. I have been dealing with endo. for a long time now and am having a total abdominal hysterectomy with removal of both ovaries on 7/7/05.(But I am not necessarily suggesting this is the right route for you to go.)Have you tried continuous birth control pills, or Depo Provera? I'm not trying to promote using Lupron & know a lot of people have had problems with it & it's not right for everyone, but I did it twice for a year straight without any problems, & it helped me greatly with my pain. Enough about that though. I am in Philadelphia so I can't help with finding a specific Doc. in your area, but try looking into some of the large teaching hospitals,or see if there are any Reproductive Endocrinologists close to you. You need to get an opinion from someone other than your current Doc., and you need to have the endo. & fibroids found at the time of your surgery addressed. Any amount of endo. is significant & can cause pain.If your Doctor can't/won't see that then it's time to find another. I hope this helps some. Sara'
