Becky- Hey there- i am new to this site- sooo here i go. I have had major kidney/bladder/hormonal problems since i was born- so when i found out about endo in feb.- i was shocked- i had no idea that it was all related- anywho i was diagnosed this year- i am 18- i was diagnosed a week before my birthday- but the pain was horrendous- i went to a urogynecologist- but she could only do so much- so i was sent to northwestern univ. in chicago 20 mins from home- and he put me on femara- i felt so awkward going in to see this doc- everyone in the room were husbands and wives for infertility- sooo i was the youngest one there. anyways- femara has been great- i do have horrible mood swings and struggle with depression at times- but ill take that over the non-stop bleeding and everything else that comes with endo- FEMARA rocks! i will end this treatment in august- so we'll see how much it has helped- i recommend this drug to anyone- it has worked well for me. :)
