Continuous birth control pill for endometriosisFrom: Marissa (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon Jun 20 21:29:34 2005
Does this really work for endometriosis? I refuse to take Lupron, or any of the other meds in the same class, and am wondering if stopping my period would work for pain, and the 3-week periods I have. I have done my research, but I have stage IV, and just found that out after my first laproscopy 2 weeks ago. I need to know the pros and cons of doing this, and I need to know if it would even work with someone like me. I understand it might not work to address the endometriosis per se, but pain and bleeding are my primary concern now. Is not having a period safe? Is it harmful to the body? Please help! Marissa
